Decision Legitimacy is an independent framework project by Xiaoqing Wang.

It studies judgment, authority, responsibility, and cognitive continuity in AI-mediated environments.

The project connects three layers:

  • theoretical work on decision legitimacy and judgment authority
  • research on cognitive assets and persistent human-AI cognition
  • applied judgment work in business, technical risk, AI project diagnosis, and operational decisions

Xiaoqing Wang is a full-stack engineer with long-term work across software systems, publishing workflows, AI-assisted knowledge production, and technical risk diagnosis.

The focus is not automation for its own sake, but the conditions under which decisions remain legitimate when AI systems generate outputs and automated systems execute actions.
